Hi there, let me tell you a bit about me. I am over 40 in fact I have already had 14 years of being over 40.  I have two amazing children who are not adults of 28 and 24 and living their own lives.  And now the time has come for me to think about myself again.  We sort of lose ourselves when we have children and it becomes all about them and then you reach 40 and you realise that you have to start thinking about yourself again. This is my story.

 

A couple of years ago, I decided it’s time to change my lifestyle. This meant taking control of my life and making important decisions. I am a business owner of a marketing company that has been in the market for 19 years.  Traditional business, gosh I always thought that having your own business was better than working for a boss, well I soon found out that it's just as bad because your clients become your bosses.  No more one person to answer to but now there are many of them called clients.  I needed a change.  I was exhausted and always fighting for money every month-end. Yes, I definitely needed something more, something better, but what?

 

In my posts I am going to tell you all about my exciting journey throughout my years of being over 40 that I am sure many of you will relate.  The insecurities, the doubts, the scary moments and the stresses that come with getting older, the up and down weight, OMG seriously - I can't even tell you the number of different options I have tried? Where do all the questions come from and how do we get the answers? One thing I do know is that as women we are strong and capable of anything.
